MAME 35 - General Information
MAME 35 Annual Fall Conference
November 5-7, 2008
Hyatt Regency Hotel
Dearborn, MI
"Just the Facts - Using Data" is the theme for our 2008 conference. The theme reflects the growing need for library media specialists to identify, collect, analyze, and use data to inform instruction and collaboration and structure library media services and programs. Our Thursday morning keynote speaker will be the champion of library media assessment, Ross Todd.
Our closing keynoter Friday afternoon will be Michael Sullivan, author and expert on boys and books, who will talk about looking at evidence to determine the needs of our patrons. There'll be lots of other exciting presenters on current technology, books and reading, and other hot topics. Pre-conference sessions will be offered, and popular features - Roundtables, author sessions, the Membership Meeting, and, of course, the exhibits, will all be back!
Please start planning now to attend!
